🚀 Your mission at TADA

You will join TADA's dynamic alumni team. Where the weekend school ends for 14-year-olds, our mission begins: supporting and inspiring our youth on their further journey to adulthood. This role involves a combination of organizational office work and contact with the youth (14y-25y) in the field. An ideal opportunity for someone who wants to make a real social impact in the heart of Brussels.

💼 What will you do specifically?

  1. Support in the Alumni Center: you are a driving force in the TADA Alumni Center on Wednesday afternoons. This is the "home base" where the youth come to study, ask for help, or participate in workshops.
    • You ensure a warm welcome and a constructive atmosphere.
    • You help young people formulate their needs (study assistance, internship placements, etc.).
    • You assist in the logistical and pedagogical preparation of workshops provided by partners.
  2. Coordination of Alumni Activities: together with an Alumni Coordinator, you organize activities that take place on Wednesdays or during the weekend (Saturday/Sunday).
    • Preparation: You support the practical and substantive preparation of the activities.
    • Communication: You speak the language of the youth and enthusiastically invite them through the right channels.
    • Guidance: During activities, you act as a point of contact for the youth and ensure the activity runs smoothly.
  3. Being part of the team:
    • You participate in weekly team meetings of the Alumni Team.
    • You proactively brainstorm on how we can increase the involvement of our alumni.
    • You contribute to administrative follow-up and the quality monitoring of our operations.

👤 Your profile

  • You have a strong affinity with young people aged 14+ and know how to motivate and coach them.
  • You have excellent communication skills in French (essential for contact with the youth) and a good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset.
  • You work with precision and can easily switch between contacting professional partners and informal conversations with young people.
  • You spot work that needs to be done, dare to take initiative, and are socially very skilled.
  • You want to commit to equal opportunities and have a heart for Brussels' youth.

Practical

  • Days: Ideally, 3 to 5 days per week.
  • Availability: You are definitely available on Wednesday afternoons (Alumni Center). In addition, you are willing to work on a regular basis during the weekend (Saturday or Sunday) when activities with partners are scheduled (in compensation for weekdays).
  • Location: A combination of our office, the Alumni Center, and other partner locations in Brussels.
